BDR's: These are essential to supporting our students and must be completed for them to receive Tier 2 or 3 behavior supports. If you have any questions or are need support in filling these out please reach out to me, Serena or Dakota. 


Tier 1 strategies: PRIM Digital manual The Pre-referral Intervention Manual is a great resource to use for Tier 1 resources. It's full of strategies directly related to specific behaviors It provides strategies and interventions to use when students are experiencing behavioral, social, or academic difficulties.

Say No To Drugs Poster Contest: Classroom visits for 4th & 5th grades on Tuesday Sept 30th. They will come to your classes starting at 10:16am.

ESGI Optional Training: ESGI will be hosting an optional training on the new teacher homepage (see below). It will be Wednesday, October 1st from 2:45 – 3:45 PM on Zoom.

National Custodian's Day: Thursday, October 2nd. 

Serena, Richard & Lindsey out: Thursday, October 2nd till 10:30. Ryan Poulsen will be covering as TIC. Thanks Ryan!

Sami Circuit: Family Night on Zoom Thursday, October 2nd at 6:00 PM on both YouTube and Zoom. This live streaming event is a special chance for students and their families to move together, laugh together, and build lasting memories, from the comfort of their homes. Families get a motivational exercise session plus a chance to win raffle prizes!


ParentSquare Conference Sign-Ups
As parent teacher conferences approach, don’t forget we use ParentSquare sign-ups to easily have parents/guardians sign up for time slots. This walkthrough will guide you through the steps to send out a post with an appointment sign-up. Google sheets with names and information can violate student and parent privacy and outside sign-ups like SignUpGenius do not have signed agreements with RCSD to share data.

PBIS Board meeting recognition: We are being recognized at the Thursday, October 23rd Board meeting for our Platinum status. If you are able to join us we would love as many of you there to be recognized by the Board for your outstanding effort.

PIE Grant Applications: 2025-2026 PIE Grant Application

Independent Study: Please remember to attach work samples: You need one for each subject matter in which credit was given. All work samples need to be uploaded into Informed K12 with the corresponding student contract. Teachers should try to finalize the contract within 10 days of the student returning to school.

Smart Watches: Per district guidelines please have students put smartwatches into their backpacks during the school day.
