Public School Works: Due Monday, September 15th - Classified employees must submit their time sheets directly to their sites, and certificated employees must complete their training by the deadline to receive their additional pay.

Progress Report Reminder: PLC Progress Report Prep is next Wednesday, September 17th. A reminder that progress reports go home Friday, September 26th. There are more details in the Educator Digest if needed.

RCSD Inventory: September 22nd

An outside agency will be doing an inventory of all district-owned furniture, equipment, and technology items, including:


  • Staff computers (desktops, laptops, Chromebooks). We will need to leave our Laptops here the weekend of Sept 20th.)

  • Televisions

  • iPads

  • Apple TVs

  • Computer labs

  • Elementary Chromebooks - please leave carts/charging stations unlocked


Access is RCI’s top requirement. For a successful inventory, they must be able to enter every room in every building.

Library: Track B

BDR's: Thank you to everyone for filling out the necessary BDR's when our students are not following our Ranch Way expectations. Please continue to do so as it helps get the students the necessary support if needed.

Sparkler Event: Our first event is a Rivercats game on Saturday, September 20.  Spouses and families are welcome.
Game starts at 6:30pm. Lawn seats are about $20. If going, you can purchase your own tickets and gather with others on the lawn to watch the game. 

If you plan to attend, please add your name to the attached spreadsheet.  If your plans change, please update the form

Independent Study: Please remember to attach work samples: You need one for each subject matter in which credit was given. All work samples need to be uploaded into Informed K12 with the corresponding student contract. Teachers should try to finalize the contract within 10 days of the student returning to school.

K-1 Foundational Skills Assessments: Beginning-of-Year Foundational Skills data for Kindergarten and 1st Grade is due in ESGI by September 19th. This includes only reading assessments.
Teachers are asked to send home the ESGI Parent Letter Report with their Progress Reports. More information on the “Assessment Calendar” tab on the Foundational Skills Hub.

Tier 1 strategies: PRIM Digital manual The Pre-referral Intervention Manual is a great resource to use for Tier 1 resources. It's full of strategies directly related to specific behaviors It provides strategies and interventions to use when students are experiencing behavioral, social, or academic difficulties. 

Second Step: Please make sure you are completing your Second Step curriculum and marking each lesson that you have completed.
