An outside agency will be doing an inventory of all district-owned furniture, equipment, and technology items, including:
Staff computers (desktops, laptops, Chromebooks). Staff must leave laptops overnight on the scheduled day
Televisions
iPads
Apple TVs
Computer labs
Elementary Chromebooks - please leave carts/charging stations unlocked
Middle School Chromebooks - will be imported into the inventory based on Librarian Media Specialist records in Destiny (during check-out).
Access is RCI’s top requirement. For a successful inventory, they must be able to enter every room in every building. We will need to leave our Laptops here the weekend of Sept 20th.
To help ensure efficiency, please:
Clearly label all personal items with a yellow sticky note marked “P.”
Make sure closets and containers storing furniture/equipment are accessible.
Unbox equipment before tagging.
Make equipment in administrative offices available.
Leave district-owned technology (including staff laptops) in classrooms overnight.
Note: Kitchen equipment (appliances, computers, tables) will be inventoried. Small wares and leased items will not.
- Requests for Spanish and Russian conferences will be sent out in early September and your blocks of time will be sent to you in early October.
- Time blocks will be for 30 minutes to allow “travel” from one conference to the next
- Please confirm with families that they will need an interpreter before requesting one or counting them in your numbers. Sometimes families want to bring someone they know. Please don’t assume they need one because their child is an English learner.
- Do not schedule other conferences until your blocks of time are given to you for Spanish and Russian.
- Requesting other languages will follow the Request for Interpreter process.
- Teachers need to submit their hard copy form of the request to their site clerical
- Clerical will submit all requests on the Google form
- As we get closer, specific dates will be given for timelines in order to make sure there is sufficient time to book interpreters.
