PLC Wednesday: In your classrooms. Please be ready to discuss which iReady instruction you would like as a grade level. The district will only be purchasing either ELA or Math again next year.

PLC Training: Derk has offered to send one representative per site to a PLC training on June 19th - 21st. Please follow the link to get more information and let me know if you are interested. Should be a great opportunity to learn. Click HERE for more info.

*Reminder: Please return promptly to your classrooms after lunch so that MDS can be on-time for their next duty, especially during wet weather. This will help us strive to maintain the necessary level of safety throughout the school day.

TOSA Corner: YOU MADE IT!! Happy Spring break! Here is an article called “21 Things Every Teacher Should Do on Spring Break” from 2016 and it made me laugh out loud at some of the things. I hope you all do exactly what you want, when you want, and with whomever you want next week. You all have worked so hard and it’s time for a break. Last night was a great night, but now it’s time to rest and refresh. See you all in 11 days. ;)

Yearbook: Over Spring Break, Duane is going to work on pages in the yearbook as well as class pages. Please make sure all photos are uploaded before you leave for Spring Break on Friday! Complete this form by Friday, March 31st saying you have uploaded photos and who will be doing your class page. This is a BIG task that he is taking on and is hoping to tackle a big chunk of it over break!
Skate Night(4/24): Our next skate night is April 24th. PTC will cover the cost for any teacher who wants to attend. Please add your name to the date you will be attending so they know you're coming! I will be there if you would like to join!
$100 Teacher Reimbursement (due 4/28): This will close at the end of April! PTC approved a $100 reimbursement for items purchased for your classroom. Teachers can fill out a paper copy and turn it into the PTC box or email a digital copy to Duane at orchardranchptc@gmail.com.

Library: Track A Staff Meeting: 4.11.24 at 2:25pm Lockdown Drill: Drill happening 4.11.24 at 9:40am Solar Eclipse: There is a solar eclipse happening on April 8th. An announcement will be made to head outside with the glasses around 10:45am Everyone come out for viewing View through glasses and then return to class Lunch procedures will be as normal *Please wait to pass out the glasses until the viewing time Software Survey: Please fill out this survey to help us plan for future purchases. Adjunct Duties: We are starting to plan for next year. Please fill out this form by Wednesday, April 17th. PBIS: Our PBIS walkthrough is happening Monday, April 8th at 8:30am. A classroom walkthrough guide was put in your boxes. Please have this form printed out. 2024 - 2025 Schedules: Yard Duty Schedule Adjunct Duty Schedule Room Assignments Yearbooks: Please review these expectations with your students: Yearbooks may be brought back to school for the last week for class parties and recess, but the student is responsible for them Make sure to have student's first and last name written in the yearbook If you still want to purchase a yearbook , they are available in the office Make sure you are writing appropriate things in other's yearbooks Yearbook Signing: Yearbook signing will be Thursday, May 30th 8:30am - 9. We know with end of the year festivities, there may be conflicts so if you need to skip, that is fine too . We will gather in the courtyard in front of the outdoor stage.
