TOSA Corner:

This week is just a reminder of the most recent training everyone attended on the effective math block. As a review, best practices include math centers; how this looks in your class is totally up to you! If you've never tried math centers, start with that level one (a couple different math centers, teacher monitors and walks around for support) before trying level two (teachers are a center themselves). If you haven't started centers in your math block and would like support launching it, please let me know. I can help plan stations, model management techniques, or help co-teach and lead a center. I figure that at this time of the year when things will start to wind down soon, maybe we can start planning these math stations for next year. If as a PLC you all would like a bank of activities surrounding specific essential standards or units, don't hesitate to reach out, I'm happy to help!

Sparkler Updates:
Baby Stella Jo Fontana: Congratulations to the Fontana family on their newest addition! Maddison Skelton guessed her arrival date (March 11th). Lindsey Sutter and Megan Burger tied for guessing the closest birth weight (6lb and 11 oz). A gift card is coming your way!

Next Happy Hour (4/12): We will have our next Happy Hour on Wednesday, April 12th at Kitchen 747. RSVP on the google calendar invite. We hope to see you there! :)


PTC Updates:

The next PTC meeting is on March 21st @4:30pm. Thank you Mary and Brooke for signing up to attend. Click here to sign up!


PTC Grade Level Updates: Please have one person from each grade level or special fill out this form. We will be sharing this information at the PTC meeting (3/21 @4:30pm). They love to hear all about what you're doing and what's coming up. Thank you in advance for your responses! :)


Yearbook Cover Contest: Thank you for casting your vote for the top three yearbook covers! Winner will be announced before Spring Break. 


Skate Night(3/20): Our next skate night is March 20th. This event is open to all students and costs $10 per skater. PTC will cover the cost for any teacher who wants to attend. Please add your name to the date you will be attending so they know you're coming! 


$100 Teacher Reimbursement: PTC has approved a $100 reimbursement for items purchased for your classroom. Teachers can fill out a paper copy and turn it into the PTC box or email a digital copy to Duane at orchardranchptc@gmail.com.
