TOSA Corner:

I really enjoyed the article that Josh & Richard shared with us at our staff meeting. It reminded me about the importance of our relationships with students, but also the relationships between students. Since pushing into so many classes, I’ve noticed that many of you are utilizing the morning meetings to help facilitate the relationships and build communities within your classrooms. It has been really wonderful seeing this. I came across an article called “How to Address Group Conflicts Using Class Meetings” and it was eye-opening that a Kindergarten teacher could use the morning meeting to solve a group problem. It’s a great read and even has a few links for tools to help you learn how to facilitate if you’d like to try. Let me know if you ever want a buddy to help. I’d love to try this. Thank you to our many volunteers. Without you, the struggle would be real. Please remember, as guests of the school site, the expectation is to remain appropriate when on campus. Students, families and staff trust that while volunteering, students will feel safe and their privacy would be respected.

Classroom Tour on Monday: If your classroom wasn't visited at our last PD Day to share little nuggets with the site, it will be visited on Mondays PD.  

PD Day 3.13.23: We will start promptly at 8am. Pizza Lunch will be provided by Duane/PTC. 

Sparkler Updates:

Next Happy Hour (4/12): Opps... changing to our April date due to it landing on Spring Break! We will have our next Happy Hour on Wednesday, April 12th at Kitchen 747. RSVP on the google calendar invite. We hope to see you there! :)

PTC Updates:

The next PTC meeting is on March 21st @4:30pm. Thank you Mary and Brooke for signing up to attend. Click here to sign up!

Skate Night(3/20): Our next skate night is March 20th. This event is open to all students and costs $10 per skater. PTC will cover the cost for any teacher who wants to attend. Please add your name to the date you will be attending so they know you're coming! 

$100 Teacher Reimbursement: PTC has approved a $100 reimbursement for items purchased for your classroom. Teachers can fill out a paper copy and turn it into the PTC box or email a digital copy to Duane at orchardranchptc@gmail.com.
