iReady/SMART Goals: During 1/22 Monday PLC, please work with your team and write down what you're doing during RtI, when you do RtI, what has worked and how you are moving forward. Be prepared to present to the team at our Wednesday 1/24 staff meeting.
Pledge of Allegiance: It is both district and board policy to offer a time for students to take part in the pledge of allegiance daily. Students don't have to participate, but we have to offer it. Leadership has chosen a daily time for this to take place at 9:05am. We are still working through some logistical challenges. Thank you for your patience.
Student Injuries: Student injuries on the playground are on the upswing. Please make sure to walk your students out to review the playground rules in each area. If you have questions, please throw them out to the PBIS Team. Thank you.
Fire Inspection: The inspector listed these as needs that need to be addressed. Thank you for helping us continue having a positive relationship with the Fire Dept.
Next Year: We are currently figuring out placements for next year. Thank you for your patience as we try to create the most successful grade-levels for our students.
*Wall Ball: I have included in the playground rules that wall ball can only have 2 players at a time.

- All classrooms need to remove window and door coverings
- Reduce wall coverings to a maximum of 80%
- Keep a clear 36 in area around fire extinguishers.
Insulin on Field Trips: We cannot depend on a nurse to attend our field trips to administer insulin. Please reach out to parents and see if they're available early on in planning. Then, if they can't see if they can have a family member or friend who is fingerprinted attend. If that doesn't work, we will have to make sure we find someone on staff to attend.
Library Book Requests: We are looking at purchasing the next phase of our library. Please complete this googledoc to let us know if you have any book or genre requests.
Transferring students: After students leave OR to transfer to another RCSD school, Maribel will request the copies of that students curriculum, so we can send that curriculum to the new school.
PTC Dates: Here's a copy of our upcoming PTC dates. Please try to make plans to attend as many as possible. They are NOT a requirement. If you can't please let me know. Our visibility in the community directly correlates to the support our family gives to our needs/wants.
