INFORMATION & ANNOUNCEMENTS:
(“*” Indicates the number of weeks it’s been in newsletter.)
News from The Ranch BLOG: I've included the community newsletter BLOG as a live link at the top, so you can refer to it, if necessary, when talking with parents.
Recess: Students should freeze when they hear the bell. When everyone is frozen and ready, teacher blows whistle and student must WALK to their classes.
Classroom Clean: Night custodians only have 20 min in your classroom to do what they need to do on their schedule. If you have a student or a case of students who are really sick and you would like a table wipe down, please fill out a custodial request for table wipe down in the evening. Please keep in mind that the table wipe down may affect the cleaning of something else in your room for that evening. Thank you for understanding.
*Tape: Please use blue painters tape to attach posters and papers to doors and walls. It will prevent residue and lengthen the longevity of our paint. Thank you. If you need some, we have some in the office.
**Treats: Remember that according to the district health policy, we are not allowed to reward students with candy and treats. I know it makes this challenging, because candy is very rewarding. We just can’t give it to the kids. Many parents are asking about it and it just opens a can of worms. Staff, on the other hand, can have all the treats we want! Thank you for your help.
**Stickers and tape on the floor: As we explore the flexibleness of our concrete floor, we are looking into vinyl stickers/dots that won’t cause problems with mopping, cleaning, etc. Please refrain from adding tape or stickers to the concrete floor for placeholder dots, per maintenance and facilities. Thank you.
Note: Dates may change. Please continue to double-check the google calendar to confirm dates.
