Recess Lab: Click HERE for tricks to quiet down large groups.

Next Year: We are already planning for enrollment and teaching positions for next year. Shortly, you will be receiving an in house letter of intent form. This is to communicate to me your thoughts on possible grade changes. It does not guarantee a change, but will help me plan. According to our numbers right now, we will have...

TK: 2 teachers
K: 5 teachers
1st: 5 teachers (grow 1 class)
2nd: 5 teachers (grow 2 classes)
3rd: 4 teachers (grow 1 class)
4th: 2 teachers
5th: 2 teachers (grow 1 class)

On the intent form, please let me know if you are interested in changing grades. Also, please be aware that growth comes with changing of classrooms. We will get things settled ASAP, so you can begin preparing for a possible classroom change. Thank you.

*Recess Equipment: We are moving forward to allowing students to bring their own balls to school. Right now we are limiting it to balls. However, no footballs or soccer balls. It's too hard to monitor those games on the grass. Reminder, no rackets or toys are allowed on the playground during recess. Our hope is that students take better care of their own equipment and it alleviates issues with not having enough balls.

*Wall Ball: I have included in the playground rules that wall ball can only have 2 players at a time.

*Email HINTS: Usually when parents email they are emotional. Especially if their child got hurt. Remember, the best way to respond is with empathy and with the facts. It's like writing a police report and we are simply informing the families of the situation. It also help us.

**Holiday Sing: To help with the craziness of the last day before break, Josh will be leading a sing a long in the Barn December 22 from 9-10. This is optional, but a lot of fun. We will simply be singing Christmas songs and caroling. Bring your Christmas Cheer! Attached are the Christmas Carols and links to the song on youtube. They are a little cheesy, but please make sure the kids know it will be a lot cooler when we sing together. If you know the song or a cooler version, please feel free to practice that. Thank you. Click HERE for Christmas Carols.

Note: Dates may change. Please continue to double-check the google calendar to confirm dates.
