INFORMATION & ANNOUNCEMENTS:
(“*” Indicates the number of weeks it’s been in newsletter.)

Recess Equipment: We are moving forward to allowing students to bring their own balls to school. Right now we are limiting it to balls. However, no footballs or soccer balls. It's too hard to monitor those games on the grass. Reminder, no rackets or toys are allowed on the playground during recess. Our hope is that students take better care of their own equipment and it alleviates issues with not having enough balls.

Wall Ball: I have included in the playground rules that wall ball can only have 2 players at a time.

Email HINTS: Usually when parents email they are emotional. Especially if their child got hurt. Remember, the best way to respond is with empathy and with the facts. It's like writing a police report and we are simply informing the families of the situation. It also help us.

4th and 5th ONLY: It's District Spelling Bee time! Please send me the top 3 spellers in your grade-levels on December 15th @ 1:15. They will be taking a district test and move on to the district spelling bee. How you figure out your top 3 is up to you. Thank you.

*Title 24: We are the first Title 24 compliant school in the district. This means we are on the cutting edge of energy savings technology and procedures. With that some some quirks with regards to our school. We are trying to figure out what's an issue and what's Title 24. We will keep you updated.

*Holiday Sing: To help with the craziness of the last day before break, Josh will be leading a sing a long in the Barn December
22 from 9-10. This is optional, but a lot of fun. We will simply be singing Christmas songs and caroling. Bring your Christmas Cheer! Attached are the Christmas Carols and links to the song on youtube. They are a little cheesy, but please make sure the kids know it will be a lot cooler when we sing together. If you know the song or a cooler version, please feel free to practice that. Thank you. Click HERE for Christmas Carols.

**iReady/SMART Goals: We will be reviewing our data and how we are doing on our SMART Goals at the 12/11 PLC in the staff room. Please be reviewing your data and come ready to discuss positives and the direction your team is going.

Note: Dates may change. Please continue to double-check the google calendar to confirm dates.
