BDR's: How are your classroom procedures and expectations going? Part of the MTSS process is fully implemented Tier 1 supports, which means we are constantly working on ways that support our students being successful in class. If you are seeing areas that they need support in please use these guide to assist you. Reach out to our PBIS Tier 1 team or Serena and I if you have questions.
Tier 1 strategies: PRIM Digital manual The Pre-referral Intervention Manual is a great resource to use for Tier 1 resources. It's full of strategies directly related to specific behaviors It provides strategies and interventions to use when students are experiencing behavioral, social, or academic difficulties.
Please remember: if you witness an incident or if a student comes to you for support and a BDR is needed, it is your responsibility to complete the BDR, even if you are not the student’s classroom teacher. We need the data to make informed decisions.
