INFORMATION & ANNOUNCEMENTS:


Library: Track B 

PLC Wednesday: Meet in Classrooms @ 1:10 to discuss RtI. PLC ends at 2:20

Evacuation Drill: 11.29.23 @ 8:30pm

Westpark Students: Will be on campus Tuesday the 24th at 8:40-9:40.

Staff meeting: 11.30.23 @ 2:25 in the staffroom



Volunteer Reminder: As class parties ramp up, please fill out this form so the office can prepare for your volunteers and attendees. Please make sure if you have over 5 volunteers, you have a trusted volunteer to sign in guests. CLICK HERE


*DTM Sign up: At the beginning of the year it was mentioned that grade levels invite Josh, Richard and me to a DTM during your PLC. Please talk with your grade level teams and find a PLC where we can join you for your DTM meeting.CLICK HERE

*Library Books: We have a small selection of graphic novels in your library.  Our goal is for students to engage and love to read whether that is a novel, graphic novel, non-fiction text, etc.  There are also many benefits of graphic novels for our English Learners and struggling readers.  These books will be remaining on all school library shelves and we are looking to purchase more to reach more students.

Here are some articles that discuss the importance of graphic novels if you are interested in reading.

*Bathroom Logs: 3-5th grade please require students to log out and in for bathroom usage. Please double check logs for accuracy.

  REMINDER:  VESTS while on duty, BADGES at all times, & Doors ALWAYS Locked! Library:   Track A NEXT Staff Meeting: 4.24.25 @ 2:20 5.1.25 meeting moved to 4.24.25 Drills: Lockdown: 4/10 @ 9:00 Evacuation: 4/22 @ 10:30am 5/13 @ 1:00pm Open House: I cannot express how impressed I am with our entire staff during open house. What a great vibe at the event. Your hard work shows when we have SO MANY returning students coming to our open house. As always, GREAT job!!!! Fire Inspection: We never had out fire inspection of winter break. We are scheduled for April 15th over spring break. Please make sure nothing is on the doors, fire extinguishers aren't blocked by stuff or furniture, and hanging lights and extension cords aren't being used during the inspection.
