INFORMATION & ANNOUNCEMENTS:


Make Up Pictures: We have make-up pictures scheduled for make up day on Monday, September 20th from 8-9am. Please see Rene's email for a list of students still needed and   


Field Trip Busing: Due to driver shortages, not field trip busing available at this point in the year. Will keep you updated.  


Staff lunch Options: We have been reminded that staff needs to be 6ft while eating and staff room should be a last resort for eating lunch. Please be thinking of options for staff lunch times when we have bad  weather. We will discuss during our PD on the 1st. Thank you for your help in figuring this out.  


Fire Drill: Here are some questions from the Fire Drill Survey.


Question #1: Do routes matter to get to the assigned locations? There was a lot of congestion getting to 5th/4th/3rd grade area & some classes ended up standing around for a while waiting for other classes to pass.


Answer #1: I noticed that at the last drill. We're working on some possible other positions for upper grade. We will keep you updated.


Question #2: How are staff accounted for during the fire drill?


Answer #2: Crystal is taking roll for the adults as the rest of the team is checking in with staff about children. 



Volunteer Protocols: We are working on phasing in volunteers for help with clerical items. As of right now, volunteers will need to have a negative COVID test within 72 hours of volunteering or show their vaccine card and follow health and safety guidelines while on campus. We will have a process of dates and expectations to you soon. You may begin asking your parents for volunteers, but please let them know of the current guidelines. As of now, NO VOLUNTEERS in classes except for art docents. 


Surveillance Testing: Fridays 12:15 to 3:15 in the health office.


Sami Circuit All School Zoom: 9/24 @ 9:30-10:00. Zoom link to follow. 

Tardies: Internal communication ONLY. We are not counting tardies before 30 min. Students will not be counted tardy until 8:55. 

PLC Monday Zoom: We will Having a presentation from the PTC. Zoom Link 


PBIS: Please continue to review the lessons with your students whenever you see issues arise. All BDR's help us reinforce positive student behavior and review expectations where necessary.

  Orchard Ranch Blog 4.8.24 PLC Wednesday:   Progress report prep April 10th at 1:10pm. Library:   Track A  Staff Meeting: 4.11.24 at 2:25pm Lockdown Drill: Drill happening 4.11.24 at 9:40am Solar Eclipse: There is a solar eclipse happening on April 8th. An announcement will be made to head outside with the glasses around 10:45am Everyone come out for viewing View through glasses and then return to class Lunch procedures will be as normal *Please wait to pass out the glasses until the viewing time Software Survey: Please fill out this survey to help us plan for future purchases. Adjunct Duties: We are starting to plan for next year. Please fill out  this form by Wednesday, April 17th. PBIS: Our PBIS walkthrough is happening Monday, April 8th at 8:30am. A classroom walkthrough guide was put in your boxes. The person walking through will look for your classroom expectation poster, the items on the walkthrough guide, and may ask you and/or students to recall the 4 school rules. L

  Orchard Ranch Blog 5.28.24 End of Year Sign Out: Check out will start at 9am on May 31st. Please have this form printed out. 2024 - 2025 Schedules: Yard Duty Schedule Adjunct Duty Schedule Room Assignments Yearbooks: Please review these expectations with your students: Yearbooks  may be brought back to school for the last week for class parties and recess, but the student is responsible for them  Make sure to have student's first and last name written in the  yearbook If you still want to purchase a  yearbook , they are available in the office Make sure you are writing appropriate things in other's  yearbooks Yearbook Signing: Yearbook signing will be Thursday, May 30th 8:30am - 9. We know with end of the year festivities, there may be conflicts so if you need to skip, that is fine too . We will gather in the courtyard in front of the outdoor stage. Staff are welcome to bring a chair to sit on. Report Cards: Report Cards will be emailed to families on 5/30/24. Just a reminde
