INFORMATION & ANNOUNCEMENTS:


Library: We are on track B is this week for library this week. Please return all library books the day before!


DTM Day:

PD Day 10/1/21: Please report to the barn by 8:30 on Friday. 

  • 8:30 Start in Barn
  • 11:30 Lunch
  • 12:30 Reconvene in Barn


Fire Inspection: The alarms will be tested on 9/30. Shouldn't take too long.  


*Staff lunch Options: We have been reminded that staff needs to be 6ft while eating and staff room should be a last resort for eating lunch. Please be thinking of options for staff lunch times when we have bad  weather. We will discuss during our PD on the 1st. Thank you for your help in figuring this out. 



 


Shelter in Place Drill: 9/29 @ 9:10am. I will come on the phone and go through the steps with you class. However if you want to practice...


1. Alarm sounds: Lock door and check lock block. 

2. Turn off lights.

3. Continue teaching while students use quiet voices to communicate.

4. Wait for all clear. Resume regular practice after "ALL CLEAR" is read.


Surveillance Testing: Fridays 12:15 to 3:15 in the health office.

Tardies: Internal communication ONLYWe are not counting tardies before 30 min. Students will not be counted tardy until 8:55. 

PLC Monday: Meet with us on zoom for PTC update. Then in your teams. ZOOM LINK

Arriving and departing from school: Please review PBIS expectations of what amazing Bronco's do when arriving and departing from school. Encourage the kids to share those with their parents so that they too can make good choices when dropping and picking up their students. We need to keep our students safe.

  Orchard Ranch Blog 4.8.24 PLC Wednesday:   Progress report prep April 10th at 1:10pm. Library:   Track A  Staff Meeting: 4.11.24 at 2:25pm Lockdown Drill: Drill happening 4.11.24 at 9:40am Solar Eclipse: There is a solar eclipse happening on April 8th. An announcement will be made to head outside with the glasses around 10:45am Everyone come out for viewing View through glasses and then return to class Lunch procedures will be as normal *Please wait to pass out the glasses until the viewing time Software Survey: Please fill out this survey to help us plan for future purchases. Adjunct Duties: We are starting to plan for next year. Please fill out  this form by Wednesday, April 17th. PBIS: Our PBIS walkthrough is happening Monday, April 8th at 8:30am. A classroom walkthrough guide was put in your boxes. The person walking through will look for your classroom expectation poster, the items on the walkthrough guide, and may ask you and/or students to recall the 4 school rules. L

  Orchard Ranch Blog 5.28.24 End of Year Sign Out: Check out will start at 9am on May 31st. Please have this form printed out. 2024 - 2025 Schedules: Yard Duty Schedule Adjunct Duty Schedule Room Assignments Yearbooks: Please review these expectations with your students: Yearbooks  may be brought back to school for the last week for class parties and recess, but the student is responsible for them  Make sure to have student's first and last name written in the  yearbook If you still want to purchase a  yearbook , they are available in the office Make sure you are writing appropriate things in other's  yearbooks Yearbook Signing: Yearbook signing will be Thursday, May 30th 8:30am - 9. We know with end of the year festivities, there may be conflicts so if you need to skip, that is fine too . We will gather in the courtyard in front of the outdoor stage. Staff are welcome to bring a chair to sit on. Report Cards: Report Cards will be emailed to families on 5/30/24. Just a reminde
