RCSD Inventory: September 22nd
An outside agency will be doing an inventory of all district-owned furniture, equipment, and technology items, including:
Staff computers (desktops, laptops, Chromebooks). Staff must leave laptops overnight on the scheduled day
Televisions
iPads
Apple TVs
Computer labs
Elementary Chromebooks - please leave carts/charging stations unlocked
Middle School Chromebooks - will be imported into the inventory based on Librarian Media Specialist records in Destiny (during check-out).
Access is RCI’s top requirement. For a successful inventory, they must be able to enter every room in every building. We will need to leave our Laptops here the weekend of Sept 20th.
To help ensure efficiency, please:
Clearly label all personal items with a yellow sticky note marked “P.”
Make sure closets and containers storing furniture/equipment are accessible.
Unbox equipment before tagging.
Make equipment in administrative offices available.
Leave district-owned technology (including staff laptops) in classrooms overnight.
Note: Kitchen equipment (appliances, computers, tables) will be inventoried. Smallwares and leased items will not.
Before School: Doors need to open promptly at 7:30. Please make sure you are at your door or pre-arrange coverage if you are running late.
After School Duties: If you have duty in the front pick-up area please could you help with bringing in the purple cones and sandwich board at 2:20pm.
If you are at another duty location and there are no kids to supervise then please assist other duty areas.
Assessment Calendar:
iReady Window #1: August 11 - Sept 5th
**Summer reimbursement: If you made a summer purchase for your classroom, we will reimburse you up to $150. Please have reimbursement form completed by August 28th.
**Lunch time: Please continue to walk you kids to their tables in the lunchroom. We can't even explain how much that has helped. Seeing the interaction/hand off to and with MDS helps the kids buy in to the adults are working together.
