Student Accounts Disabled Nightly: Beginning May 12th, student accounts will be unavailable from 11:00 pm to 5:00 am daily. This is a new initiative we're implementing to encourage students to unplug and rest. Please share this with your parents. Additional details are in the Educator BLOG.

Household Income Form Verification

On May 4th, the District messaged all families that completed the Annual Household Income form during their 2023/24 registration to request they verify their responses and make any necessary updates. This is an important step in ensuring that we have accurate and up-to-date information.

If you receive questions from families about the verification process, please reassure them that this is a routine check to ensure that our records are accurate and up-to-date.

TOSA Corner:

Math Jokes as a Hook to your Lesson

Q: Who is the roundest knight at the roundtable?

A: Sir Cumference....because he ate too much Pi!

I got into an argument with 1, 3, 5, and 7. The odds were against me... they were all in their prime!

Q: Why weren't the two 4s hungry?

A: Because they already eight.

For this week's TOSA tip, I wanted to remind you that part of an effective math lesson is that initial hook. This can sometimes be a silly pun, joke, or riddle that will help kids remember a math concept. I am linking a couple math-related jokes to lighten up what can be a challenging subject for many. Enjoy!
