Library: We are on TRACK B for library the week of  April 4th through April 8th.

New Cook: Reniea's last day was April 1st. We will have an interim cook and then hire for our permanent one ASAP. Thank you for your patience through this transition.

Eating in The Barn: We are working on getting our kids back into The Barn for lunch. However, this will be a process as we not only have to train our kids, but also our staff. Please be on the look out for PBIS lesson to teach your kids and an implementation plan. Like with anything at OR, there are a lot of moving parts to something that sounds simple.

Fire Drill: We will be conducting our Raptor Fire Drill on Monday 4/4 at 1pm. Please follow regular Fire Drill Procedures. 
  • Wear Vest
  • Bring Walkie and Red Bag
  • Have a phone or iPad logged into Raptor
  • Take attendance on Raptor
  • We will be still using red and green cards in addition to raptor at this time.
  • Red means some this different in my class. (Volunteers/missing kids/etc.)
  • Green mean all normal and accounted for

TOSA Corner: For my next tip, I thought that you might like using a math fluency website to review the standards that some students may not have mastered yet. It will take a bit of time to look through the website to figure out what you need, but when you run out of lessons from the math book, some of these fluency centers could serve as a great way to review without having to teach a lesson. Your students can problem solve together while you work with small groups. If you need help creating anything, please let me know. Erin and I can most likely find some time to help with the prep work.




**Staff Appreciation Dinner: Surprise! This year, PTC will be hosting a Staff Appreciation Dinner on May 5th from 5pm. Dinner will be held at Kitchen 747 for OR staff only. There will be an Evite coming out in the coming weeks to RSVP!

  Orchard Ranch Blog 4.8.24 PLC Wednesday:   Progress report prep April 10th at 1:10pm. Library:   Track A  Staff Meeting: 4.11.24 at 2:25pm Lockdown Drill: Drill happening 4.11.24 at 9:40am Solar Eclipse: There is a solar eclipse happening on April 8th. An announcement will be made to head outside with the glasses around 10:45am Everyone come out for viewing View through glasses and then return to class Lunch procedures will be as normal *Please wait to pass out the glasses until the viewing time Software Survey: Please fill out this survey to help us plan for future purchases. Adjunct Duties: We are starting to plan for next year. Please fill out  this form by Wednesday, April 17th. PBIS: Our PBIS walkthrough is happening Monday, April 8th at 8:30am.   Orchard Ranch Blog 5.28.24 End of Year Sign Out: Check out will start at 9am on May 31st. Please have this form printed out. 2024 - 2025 Schedules: Yard Duty Schedule Adjunct Duty Schedule Room Assignments Yearbooks: Please review these expectations with your students: Yearbooks  may be brought back to school for the last week for class parties and recess, but the student is responsible for them  Make sure to have student's first and last name written in the  yearbook If you still want to purchase a  yearbook , they are available in the office Make sure you are writing appropriate things in other's  yearbooks Yearbook Signing: Yearbook signing will be Thursday, May 30th 8:30am - 9. We know with end of the year festivities, there may be conflicts so if you need to skip, that is fine too . We will gather in the courtyard in front of the outdoor stage. Staff are welcome to bring a chair to sit on. Report Cards: Report Cards will be emailed to families on 5/30/24. Just a reminde
