Library Information: Reminder: Next week is our last scheduled library story time. I have created a slide presentation with a 'show and tell' for next week to talk about my transition.
Please continue utilizing the virtual library for the remaining weeks if you'd like.
Important: All library books to be returned to the library the week of May 10th. I'll let you know the week before who still has outstanding books in your class.
Staying in the same grade level: I will be placing the new 2021-2022 Curriculum Checklist in your box within the next couple weeks IF you are remaining on site and in the same grade level. Please go through your 2020-2021 Curriculum Checklist to verify that you have everything stated for the upcoming year. You will then transfer your data (checkmarks on all corresponding material) and let me know if you are missing any curriculum, besides the student consumables. **Please return your 2021-2022 form to me with your signature. If you are missing materials, I need to know that ASAP. It's very important that I have all the forms for the new librarian coming in.
Changing grade level: You can start dropping off your curriculum not being used, the week of May10th. If you are changing grades, the new librarian will be going through your new curriculum that will arrive during the summer. The new 2021-2022 checklist will be used. You will receive your new curriculum at the beginning of next school year and you will then go through it and confirm that you received all material stated. Your signature confirms that you have all the materials on the curriculum checklist. Please note that you will be responsible for any curriculum that you received at the beginning of the school year and is missing at the end of the year.
Close out procedures: You'll all be coming in to see me on May 27th and/ or May 28th to finalize any outstanding balances you may have acquired or simply check out. If you have any outstanding balances, I will be directing you to speak with Josh. I will be letting you know beforehand of any missing material, so you can search for it! Goal for all of us is to have no outstanding balances!!
*Articulation: You will be receiving articulation cards this week. Please complete these by May 7th, to prepare for our 21/22 class building May 10th during PLC.
*End of Year Celebrations: We will be discussing at the staff meeting. However, please treat it like Valentine's Day. Anything brought in needs to quarantine for 3 days prior. No outside guests. No activities outside the school. Please let me know if you have questions.
*Language Line: Effective immediately there is an additional code required if you use Language Line for phone translations. Please remember that you also must complete a section of the call log. See Crystal/Rene for the log.
