Hour of Code: Computer Science Education Week is December 4th-10th. The Hour of Code is a global movement by Computer Science Education Week and Code.org reaching tens of millions of students in 180+ countries through a one-hour introduction to computer science and computer programming. You can find new Hour of Code activities and also Minecraft: Hero’s Journey

Communication: Please continue the great communication via VOXER. It has really helped us function as a school site. Remember, the best way to support each other on the playground and in the classroom is to communicate behavior challenges/celebrations to each other, so we aren't surprised. Minor behavior problems don't need to be communicated unless they are repetitive. A good rule is "No Surprises".

iReady/SMART Goals: We will be reviewing our data and how we are doing on our SMART Goals at the 12/11 PLC in the staff room. Please be reviewing your data and come ready to discuss positives and the direction your team is going.

Library Books: Please inform your families that we are NOT collecting any more donated books. We appreciate their support. We have so many that we need to go through them, barcode them, and create a list of needs. Thank you.

Drop and Walk: We will be hosting our first Roseville City Drop and Walk Day Wednesday, 12/6 at 8:30. It's similar to walk to school day, but the city has designated safe "Drop and Walk" zones around our school to promote safe places to drop kids off at and walk to school. We just need 3 staff member to meet with kids at 8:30 at our 2 locations. Please let me know if you're able to help. The walk won't be as long as Walk to School Day. Thank you! The kids are excited to see staff there.

It's on Josh: We will be having our first round on me 12/1 @ Chili's on Fairway Dr. at 4pm! The next reward for "Josh's Tallies" will be Morning Pancakes. I'll flip them and cook them to order.

Note: Dates may change. Please continue to double-check the google calendar to confirm dates.
