We celebrate the everyday work, not just big events.
A lot of what makes Orchard Ranch great happens in ordinary moments: a teacher helping a student through frustration, students encouraging one another, a class working together, or an adult making a connection with a child. 

We should be looking for and celebrating those moments together. When you see these moments please be intentional and celebrate this. I'd love to hear your stories of how this is happening on campus.

Labor Day: September 7th - NO SCHOOL

Richard Out: Thursday, September 10th with 2nd grade team at PD

Picture Make-up Day: Friday, September 11th. 

PE Make-up days: All Monday classes will be receiving their first make-up PE day on Thursday 9/10 or Friday 9/11.  Please see the schedule here: OR PE schedule 9/8-9/11

Public Works Training: All Public School Works training is due on Tuesday, September 15th. Employees who started after August 3rd may have additional time, based on their start date

Next Staff meeting: Thursday, September 17th at 2:20pm in the staff lounge

iReady Progress Monitoring Week: September 14th through 18th

First Safety Drill: September 21st - Evacuation drill at 8:45am

PBIS: Please continue to review all expectations with your students on a daily basis.

New MacBooks: Please see the link in the Educator Blog for important steps on how to get ready.

Starstruck: Please make sure your families know when the performance night for your class will be. Click here for the schedule. Students are required to stay for both performances on their night.

Duck Challenge: Don't forget to send me your Duck photos. I'll share them with the staff whenever I receive them. Thank you Eric for your new picture.

Umbrellas: Big thanks to PTC for our new umbrella! Please ensure that they are closed at the end of the day. I have spoken with Right At School and Adventure Club too. Park Use:  If you are planning to take your class to the park, please communicate with your families in advance to share the plan and provide them with the opportunity to opt out.
