Umbrellas: Each room is responsible for closing their umbrella each evening. Please remind students to not touch or play with umbrellas. We want them to last. Also, please remind them to not sit on the tabletops. Thank you.

CAASPP: Testing will begin this week. Please have your kids be aware of classes that are testing. RSP will be completing the students with alternative settings in one week.  The RSP room will be closed to accommodate these students all next week. We will return to our regular new schedule on May 8. IF you have a student with an alternative setting Mrs. Q. will email who is coming and when to send them.

Last Day of PE/Music: June 2nd. The remaining days are being used for inventory at each site.

Lunch Hero Day: On behalf of the California Department of Education Nutrition Services Division, we would like to encourage all staff, students, and parents to celebrate School Lunch Hero Day on Friday, May 5, 2023.

  • Display banners, posters, or other signs in your meal pick up areas or in and around the cafeteria.
  • Have students write “thank you” cards at home or during class or draw their favorite school meals.
  • Create a video with students sharing what they enjoy about school lunch and voicing their appreciation.

**Reminder: This is the time of year where weekly expectation revisits are beneficial. We want all kids to end the year strong and successful. They can do that with regular and deliberate conversations.
