TOSA Tips: Happy 2023! I hope that you all had a wonderful and restful Winter break. As we are coming back to our regular daily routines, this might be a good time to start something new or reinvent something that you’re already doing to help facilitate student relationships within your classroom and even your relationships with your students. Leslie Huey presented on Morning Meetings at our PD day. I really like the meetings and all of the benefits that come with having them daily.  Here is the slideshow that Leslie used to introduce what a Morning Meeting is. Embedded within the slides is a collaborative Google Sheet with tons of Greetings, Share, and Activity ideas. If you are looking to spruce up your meeting, start meetings, or learn a few fun new games/songs to incorporate into your class, I think you will find the sheet valuable. If you have greetings, sharing prompts, or activity ideas you do with your class, please feel free to add to the document! Let’s share ideas and help each other build loving and safe classroom communities.


PTC:

Skate Nights: Starting this month, each month there will be a themed skate night at Roller King. The first one is THIS Monday, January 16th. This event is open to all students and costs $10 per skater. PTC will cover the cost for any teacher who wants to attend. Please add your name to the date you will be attending so they know you're coming! 


$100 Teacher Reimbursement: PTC has approved a $100 reimbursement for items purchased for your classroom. Teachers can fill out a paper copy and turn it into the PTC box or email a digital copy to Duane at orchardranchptc@gmail.com.

Please update your agendas with where you will be meeting.
