INFORMATION & ANNOUNCEMENTS:

(“*” Indicates the number of weeks it’s been in newsletter.)

Singing in Class: Singing, chanting, shouting, cheering, physical exertion, and similar activities significantly increase the risk of COVID-19 transmission because these activities increase the release of respiratory droplets and fine aerosols into the air. Therefore, these activities should not be occurring in our classrooms.

Holiday Song: Cancelled because of COVID Droplets.

OR Holiday Pictures: We will be taking a picture with a sign of each teacher. Message TBD. I will let you know soon.

Holiday Lunch: There will be Chili's lunch available on Thursday, December 17th at 1pm. Please grab food and return to your rooms. I wish we could eat all together. At least our stomachs will be full. If you're a vegetarian, please let me know.

Bumps and Blows: It's crucial that you get us the necessary bump/blows reports to us the same day.

Planning for Quarantine: There really isn't a directive from the district about how to best prepare for quarantine. The best thing to do is try to get a head in your copying, packet making, and keep up with OTUS information.  You can also have students put all possible workbooks on their chairs every afternoon as they prepare to leave. These are all up to you.

I've attached a sheet of ideas from other sites, of what to do if you need some ideas when a child has to quarantine. CLICK HERE

*Champions Lunch: We have walk up lunch available for our broncos in champions academy. You can walk up to the MPR door on the left and ask for a lunch. Our amazing cook will make it right then.
  • Champions Lunch hours are 11:30am-1pm

*Please always double-check with the OR Google Calendar as event may change.*
