Password Management: 13 staff members have not completed the password management request from the DO. Please do so ASAP. Click HERE.

LITE Update: 

• Chromebooks for students:
• Each Elementary site will get 32 next year
• 160 in next 5 years
• Chromebooks instead of macbooks for teachers: (We have the latest computers, so we will have these for a while.)
• Lites will pilot this next year (they will be nicer than the students)
• Reason is more devices in students hands
• Future devices will not have word/excel installed 
• Current ones will still have / 18/19 school year
• Chromebit will act as a substitute chromebook, when needed for a sub
• Writing/Digital Training
• Elementary will be trained on PD day in Aug.
• “How I’m Responsible online?”
• “What do I do with these tools (teachers should be teaching tools so students know how to do in the next grade level)
• Typing

• District will push out a program to use, but teachers should not be using only typing during their lab time. 

Summer Reimbursements: For bookkeeping purposes, the district does not require that we offer summer reimbursements. However, we will reimburse up to $100 for anything purchased over the summer. (This is separate from PTC reimbursement.) Reimbursement forms are due 8/21/18.

*BTSN 18/19: We are continuing to work on building class lists for next year, but our numbers are increasing incredibly. Currently, we are at 703 students for next year. The plan to inform parents about who their teacher is is similar to last year.  Front office will build you a distribution list to email your families. Included in that email is a quick presentation of your classroom, policies, rules, etc. This is just what you show them already, just narrated by your voice possibly using screencastify or making a video. Rich will be donating his talents to support staff through making a presentation on the following dates after school. By sending out these presentation before hand, we will truly have a meet and greet on BTSN and then have our tailgate. Thank you all for always being innovative and supportive of new ideas.

**Check out Day: Please sign up for a check out time. Don't worry, I usually get everyone checked out by 12pm. Attached is the information that you will need for check out day. Please make sure you're checked out with Maribel and you will need to submit keys to Rene for the summer. Josh and Rene will be returning on July 23rd. You will be able to collect your keys starting 7/25.

POD: This is part of your check out. Please make sure the POD is also free of unnecessary debris. These areas need to be deep cleaned too.
