Thank you!!! Serena and I are both so grateful to work alongside you every day. We see the hours of prep and planning you put in for your students, and we know how much energy, and intentionality it takes to run a classroom or support all aspects of the school.

Thank you for the smiles, the encouragement, and the conversations we have. We do this because we genuinely love it, and working alongside people like you is what makes it all so worthwhile.

VESTS while on duty, BADGES at all times & Doors ALWAYS Locked!

If you leave your classroom with your students, please take your charged Walkie Talkie with you and have it turned on to Channel 2.

Dress-up Day: Friday, October 30th -  We are going to try something new this year and allow students to wear their costumes to school. Please see the flyer below for expectations. I'm trying to make this as inclusive as possible so please encourage students that don't participate in Halloween to come as their favorite book character. There will be No parade as there will definitely be students that can't or won't be wearing costumes. Thanks for trying this one out. We will reflect on how they do and go from there.

Morning announcement team will remind students of the expectations throughout the week prior to the event.

SSP: Please remember to let Brooke and Julie know when you have entered the data, so that they can proceed with the necessary documentation.

Too many flyers going out?: Several people have let us know that there is a lot of information going out and this tends to dilute the information as families are not reading it. The office has been very proactive on this and will be sending out ParentSquare messages on Wednesday and Sunday only. Teachers please continue to send your weekly info out on a Friday and let your families know of the update. Unfortunately we have no control over PeachJar so those will be sent whenever scheduled.

Conference Week: All conferences are to be in-person unless parents request to meet via Zoom/ Google meet. Please remember that we can not block Friday out.
