PLC Wednesday:  Meet in Classrooms @ 1:10 to discuss RtI. PLC ends at 2:20.

Staff Meeting: 3.7.24 @ 2:25 in the staffroom

Read Across America:
Thank you to the RAA team, Sierra, and Allison for a wonderful Read Across America week! The kids loved it!

Report Cards:
The front office will be emailing report cards home on March 1st for all grades. If individual teachers want to print and send their report cards home, they are welcome to do so, but it is not required.

Teacher Who Makes a Difference Nominations:
It's that time of year where we get to choose a Teacher Who Makes a Difference. You all make a difference in the lives of kids, but this teacher will be recognized by the ACSA at a virtual celebration. Please submit your nomination here with a brief explanation. Thank you. Please complete by Friday, 3.15.24 @ 3pm.

Teacher Intent:
Teachers: I would like everyone to start thinking about next year and your position at Orchard Ranch.  If any changes are made it is to comply with district staffing numbers and to maximize our strengths and knowledge to support all of our students.  I am in support of teachers challenging themselves and moving out of their comfort zone as a way to grow professionally and to most effectively challenge our students.

Please fill out this intent form and return it by Monday, March 11th by 3pm.  This is not a guaranteed change, but it will help me in making a decision about staffing for the benefit of our students.

PBIS:
Our PBIS Tier 1 team is currently working on changes that can be made to the lunch room to ensure a safe and productive lunch time for all students and staff.
Our Tier 2 team is working on starting three groups for intervention. They include: Zones of Regulation, Hands Off Academy, and a group for Disrespect, Disruption, and Defiance. We are in the process of exiting our student that is in check in and check out.

*BDR: Please make sure that an admin is notified if you are marking "administrator" on the BDR. Also, please list the administrator who handled it in the notes.

*Accident Reports: Please remember to send students up with an accident report or ASAP. The details get muddled as the sit in the office.

*Put up chairs daily: Please stack chairs daily, to allow best access to the clean the floor.

**Please remember to check the LIVE Google Calendar as dates/times are subject to change.
