Volunteers: Volunteers can start coming in on 8/22 and be in your class. Please make sure they complete the volunteer information and turn it in to the office. They must be cleared BEFORE they can volunteer. Please talk with your PLCs about when your volunteers are coming in. We would like to avoid too many people in the work room.

PTC Corner:
Staff Favorites: Thank you to everyone who filled out the staff favorites sheet. PTC added a column for Amazon Wishlist links. If you have one for your class, please add it on THIS sheet. Thank you!

Membership Update:
The membership drive ends on the 30th of this month. Families can sign up online at www.orchardranchptc.com. Each family who signs up will get a calendar magnet. You will receive these in your boxes with a sticky note with the student's name on it. The class with the most memberships will receive an ice cream party. An added incentive this year (in addition to the calendar magnets) is that IF we get 200 families (not students) to sign up, the WHOLE school will earn an extra recess. Right now Dakota is in the lead with 7 students signed up. Close behind with 6 is Burger, Donohue, Fontana, Kellogg, Osterholt, Rohla and Rumbaugh.

Lock Doors: Make sure all doors remained locked. They can be propped open, but please make sure they are ALWAYS locked.

Walk to learn: This will start, if you haven't already, by 9/6.

Second Step: This should be all working, please begin using it in your classroom.

Drill: Our first fire drill will be on 8/25 at 9am. More instructions to come. Please make sure you've downloaded the raptor app on your phone or ipad.

*Monkey Rave: Please continue practicing this with your kids. Our goal is to play it at gatherings and outdoor events and also help burn some energy when needed. LOL.

Heat: Please be aware of the heat . Encourage water and shade whenever your kids are outside. Thank you.

**Please remember to check the LIVE Google Calendar as dates/times are subject to change.
