INFORMATION & ANNOUNCEMENTS:
(“*” Indicates the number of weeks it’s been in newsletter.)

This week's staffroom Hozier playlist is being brought to you by Michelle Stephens.

Pancakes & PJ's: Thank you to those who were able to make it to this event. We really appreciate your help and support.

Aerial Photo: We will be taking an Aerial Photo on Monday. Thank you for being so flexible with this last minute idea.

Attendance Letters: Attendance letters were sent out last week. Parents may reach out to you. If they do, please let them know they are automatically generated by the district and tracked by the county. These letters are meant to inform parents and be a form of support for our families. They sound very official and are written in a manor that is meant to get the parents attention. Every family situation is different. Please just reinforce that we are just trying to see if there's anything that we can do to support the family.

Back to School Night Form: Please take a moment to answer the BTSN Form. We are trying to determine when our BTSN is for the 18/19 school year. Thank you. Click HERE

School Community Survey: The School Site Council will be sending out a community survey this week to gather feedback that will help guide OR LCAP and practice to help better serve our community.

Chick Fil A: Thank you for signing up to help at Chick Fil A. If you can make another time, but the form is filled, please feel free to show up anyways. The more the merrier. Click HERE for Sign Ups!

Teacher Who Makes A Difference: Congratulations, Megan Spears, for being Orchard Ranch's first ever Teacher Who Makes a Difference Award Recipient. On any given day Mrs. Spears can be seen around campus supporting teachers of all grades and students of all ages. She's always willing to share her knowledge, while being transparent in her growth. She consistently exudes a growth mindset, as a professional, and willingly collaborates in order to make school a better place to learn for ALL children. Her positive attitude and outlook on education is infectious and you can tell by how much her kids love to learn. Our school is better, because of Mrs. Spears.

CAASPP Information: Testing begins next week. Than you for your flexibility as we try to create the best possible testing environment and schedule for our kids.

Note: Dates may change. Please continue to double-check the google calendar to confirm dates.
